Free educational resources

The first PosterBeacon Pilot is authorized to distribute the identified EIF-original layout, synthetic example, their SVG and PDF versions, and associated previews free of charge.

You may download these resources free of charge and edit a local copy. You may print, present and share your completed posters, including for your own professional presentations.

Permission to share a completed poster does not authorize standalone resale, redistribution, rehosting or sublicensing of the original EIF templates.

These permissions grant no rights to third-party works. Bundled software libraries remain subject to their own licence conditions. No Creative Commons licence is adopted. Read the resource-use notes.

The SVG layout can be edited with a compatible editor; PDF companions and educational previews help explain the layout. The annotated example and its numbers are deliberately synthetic. They are not research results or evidence of performance.

What the Checker can establish

The free Checker compares supported PDF properties with a selected archived event/year/session profile. It does not guarantee conference acceptance or print success. Full font correctness, effective image resolution, artwork bleed and color remain UNKNOWN. Generic Quick Check separately inventories embedded font-program presence in supported resources; this does not certify rendering. Confirm the actual printer’s handling and current official requirements independently.

Sources can be incomplete or disagree

Current-event facts are separate from archived reference rules. IEEE VIS size evidence remains in conflict and NeurIPS poster instructions remain not ready according to the 5 October 2026 review. No current profile has been added. Read the exact scope and source dates.

No payment relationship is offered

This site currently offers free resources, free educational content and a free Checker. It does not offer template sales, checkout, subscriptions, premium accounts, paid checks, affiliate offers or sponsorship sales. These possibilities are deferred and are not part of the present service.

Permissions and provenance

The Pilot's free-distribution authorization was recorded on 6 October 2026. The original provenance and editing notes remain available as historical records and should be read alongside the current permissions stated here. The later distribution authorization does not change those records of how the resources were created.
