Keep a copy before editing. SVG files are UTF-8 text. Replace visible text between <text> and </text> tags in a local text editor, preserving the XML tags; encode & as &amp;. For structural changes edit scripts/resources.mjs, then run node scripts/resources.mjs and node scripts/build.mjs from the derivative root. This regenerates the SVG/PDF pair. Editing SVG alone does not update the companion PDF. No installation or image provider required.

The root width=841mm and height=1189mm set the educational A0 portrait canvas. This is not a universal event size. Change the source dimensions only with a verified intended output and revise the layout accordingly. Check every replacement for overflow and review the exported PDF. The generic layout contains placeholders; it is not a completed poster.

The annotated example has entirely fictional counts and no real institution or research claim. Keep its synthetic labels when reusing it as an example. No external image/template was copied. Generated here for EIF with Codex assistance under Commander382 authority. No broad public distribution license, legal ownership ruling or exclusive copyright claim is asserted. Third-party PDF library licenses remain separate in vendor/.

Reproduction: Node24+, local resources.mjs and existing vendored pdf-lib. SVG text uses system fonts; exact font substitution can vary. The PDF preview uses pdf-lib's standard Helvetica fonts. Font embedding is not certified by the checker. Full provenance and hashes: provenance.json.
